The business plan was simple: provide quality tools with an emphasis on service. Competitors were lacking on-time delivery in a market where waiting two to three weeks, or even more, is not acceptable. This simple philosophy led to rapid growth in the early years which has continued to this day.

Satisfied customers began asking us to do additional grinding. We built a centerless and cylindrical grinding business, adding more machines and employees but maintaining the same model of personal service, quality, and rapid turnaround

As technology advanced throughout the years, we purchased CNC grinders which have increased our capabilities, quality and further improved turnaround time.

Employees have always played an important role in our business and we strive to create a family atmosphere at Custom Tool Service. We didn't simply want operators; we wanted our employees to know our customers and often deal with them directly. Many of our employees have been here for 20 years or more because of this environment and level of involvement.

As we move into the future, we will continue to hold our values and the simple plan that set us apart from the beginning and served us well for many years: continually improving quality and delivery while maintaining a unique work environment.
